Honda Carsのアメリカのサイトを見ると、「CR-Z SPORT AND HYBRID 」と既にCR-Z専用ページを見る事ができます。
更に、スポーティなイメージを表に出してる印象が強いUKのホンダに至っては、「The new CR-Z」と、既にラインナップに加わっています。
The latest details:
- The CR-Z has a responsive chassis and direct steering for nimble handling.
- It’s the world’s first 6-speed manual hybrid car.
- It has a 1.5 litre i-VTEC engine, coupled with Honda’s Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) hybrid system.
- Plus emissions of 117 g/km and fuel economy of 56.4 mpg.*
The CR-Z goes on sale in summer 2010.
ちなみに、CR-Xの再来とも云われている由縁のデザインですが、各所のディテールそのものは随分と違っています。ただ、ワイド＆ロー、ショートホイールベースのディメンションと、フォルムを見ていると、なるほど近いものがあります。2シータークーペだった先代のインサイトよりも、むしろCR-Xに近い気がします。
約20年の間のシステムやデザインの進化が伺えます。
